Guitar Books In 2006, David completed a tablature book of all the songs from Wayne Henderson's solo guitar CD Made & Played. Click here for a full description and information on how to order. You can also check out a sample of the tablature and listen to sound clips of Wayne's unreleased recording of "Lime Rock" as well as excerpts from other tunes in the tab book. Early in December, Hal Leonard Corporation published a book of ten of David's transcriptions of Wayne's tunes, with an accompanying CD: Bluegrass Guitar--Ten Solo Classics for Flatpicking and Fingerstyle. Six of the tunes are from Made & Played, and are therefore included in the earlier tab book. Four of the tunes are outtakes from Made & Played, so this is the first time they've been available on CD. The tab to one of the tunes, "Lime Rock," was in the Made & Played tab book, but the tabs to three others--"Snowflake Reel," "Fisher's Hornpipe," and "Twinkle Little Star"--have never been published before. The book is now available at a variety of music and book stores. Here's the link to Elderly Instruments' listing: Wayne Henderson--Bluegrass Guitar Music David is currently working on a commercial CD of solo guitar arrangements of Protestant hymns.
